On April 9, 2024, Paula Trapani was recognized for her partnership with the Pembroke Central School District to provide meals through the local food pantry to children and families in need.
On January 23, 2024, it was announced that the Pembroke Teachers' Federation proposal to name the softball field after legendary coach and retired PTF member Ron Funke was approved!
On January 23, 2024, the varsity football coaches were recognized for ongoing dedication and diligence in winning back-to-back NYSPHSAA Football Championships in 2022 and 2023.

On January 23, 2024, Caleb Felski, Jeremy Gabbey Jr. and Octavius Martin were recognized for earning Honorable Mention for the New York State All-State Team. Jayden Bridge and Jayden Mast earned 1st Team for the New York State All-State Team and Tyson Totten earned Player of the Year for the New York Sate All-State Team.
On November 14, 2023, the PYA JV Football players were recognized for winning the 2023 NOFA JV Championship.
On November 14, 2023, PYA JV Head Coach John Senko, assistant coaches Phil Battaglia, Jeremy Craig, Ryan Dulkiewicz, Joe Elmore and Ian Weatherbee and Team Mom Nickie Calderon were recognized for winning the 2023 NOFA JV Championship.
On November 14, 2023, the above students were recognized for their participation in the Area All State Festival in Batavia, which is the highest honor students can achieve at this level of vocal music and band. Students auditioned last May, and now have the opportunity to sing with selected singers from eight area counties. (Not pictured Lily Scroger)
On June 13, 2023, Jim Tyx, Food Service Manager, along with the cafeteria staff, were recognized for their hard work and dedication to students in the cafeteria.
On November 14, 2023, Heather Starzynski, Head Cook, was recognized for receiving the 2023 NYSNA Shining Star Award.
On June 13, 2023, Pembroke music teachers Andy Clark, Daniel Reisdorf, John Bailey, Nina Komosinski and Cortney Chase were recognzed for their outstanding accomplishments in the Pembroke Music Department.
On June 13, 2023, the following students were recognized for their photography in the juried Villa Maria College High School Photo Exhibits: Amelia Geck (1st Place), Lily Martin (3rd Place), Molly Chittenden (Honorable Mention) and Jonah Martin (Honorable Mention).
On March 14, 2023, Arron Brown, Student Council advisor and Aimee Cummings, K-Kids advisor, were recognized for ongoing dedication to our students and for receiving the GVSBA Excellence in Student Service Awards. Students involved in both clubs were also recognized for their leadership in our community.
On February 28, 2023, 8 man varsity football players Tyson Totten, Jayden Mast and Cayden Pfalzer were recognized for earning 1st team NYS All Team Selections for football and Tyson Totten was additionally recognized for being named the New York State Player of the Year.
On March 28, 2023, Coach Matt Shay, assistant coaches and members of the varsity boys basketball team were recognized for winning the Section V Class C2 Championship.
On June 14, 2022, Dan Kolb & Zach Staebell were recognized for continuously striving for excellence at the Bus Garage and receiving a 100% rating on the DOT inspection.
On December 13, 2022, the 8 man varsity football head coach, assistant coaches and players were recognized for their achievement as the 2022 NYSPHSAA State Champions.
On April 25, 2022, Assistant District Attorneys Courtney Way and Jenna Bauer were recognized for their roles as attorney coaches for Pembroke High School's Mock Trial team.
On May 10, 2022, high school student Peter Farrington was recognized for his strong representation of the Pembroke Central School District and for leadership and character on the football field.
On February 8, 2022, the Veterans Outreach Club was recognized for the many accomplishments and the outstanding service the club has provided to our local veterans and community.
On March 8, 2022, Mr. Steinberg was recognized for volunteering his time and artistic skill to help design the new football jerseys. Mr. Steinberg was given a personalized jersey on behalf of the football boosters club.
On March 9, 2021, Stephanie O'May was recognized for her dedication as a Kindergarten and 1st grade remote teacher.
